Under my thumb

Apparently, I am under the thumb of someone. That being the government of the country I am in right now. Fortunately, I have found a way around, but it will not be able to be used very often.

We have gotten back safely, the typhoons did not affect us on our way home. Praise the Lord. Please stay in touch with us. I will blog when I can, which may mean that I save them to the side and then post them all at one time. The comments people make to my blog come to my email address for moderation, so please, please let me know what's going on in your world, too!

We shall see how I can do it. I am determined to keep up my blog in any way I can!

I am glad you are back safely! This has to be one of my least favorite times of the year, so much going on getting my kids and school (PTA) kids ready to come back. Plus realizing all the things I was supposed to do this summer when I had time. I JUST turned in my summer grades Sunday and I have to have my fall classes up by Monday so I just need to learn to not expect 'free time'!!! I am looking forward to uninterrupted work time, though. Good luck with your fall!

Yes, it is crazy busy here! I am not getting much break between classes, either. Argh, but if you think about it, She, we do have it pretty good - flexible hours, work alot from home, balance that with what children need. I feel really blessed by my career.

Glad you made it back safely. It was great to see you this summer. I am back at school, D is in KS, & this week just keeps getting busier for us, too. Right now it's my fave time of the year - NOT! - meeting upon meeting, upon meeting for 4 days, then 1 day to actually prepare my classroom & lesson plans for the students. Does that seem backwards to anyone else??? I'm glad not to have D this week, when there is so much else going on.
